Duct Installation, Vent Installation, Ductwork Modifications Putting comfort where it was meant to be
Improperly sized or designed ductwork is the most common reason people are not comfortable in their own homes. Imagine for a moment that your furnace is your lungs. Now imagine that you are running a 1-mile race. If you are in good shape you should have no problem. Now imagine that you have to run that same 1-mile race breathing through a cocktail straw. No matter how good of shape you are in, you will never run the race as fast and easily as if you could breath normally. This inability to breathe is what happens when your furnace is forced to operate through improperly sized ductwork. By custom fabricating sheet metal ductwork, we can quickly and efficiently build any necessary parts of duct to modify and enhance the performance of your system. Even if your entire duct system needs replacement, we can design and fabricate a new system.
Meet Jim, Classic Aire Care's Duct Guru, Duct Master, etc.,
Jim has been in the heating, ventilation, air conditioning business his whole life. His father was an HVAC instructor, business owner, and mentor to Jim. This life-long training, knowledge, and hands-on experience is evident in every consultation Jim does for our clients. Jim feels every homeowner has a unique situation in their HVAC system, given the equipment, house design, and homeowner needs. Likewise, the solutions are usually custom designed ductwork. Below are comments taken from two recent testimonials to Jim's expertise and how he applied it to help our Classic Aire Care customers:
From Roy and Amy A-
We wanted to drop you a line to tell you how pleased we are with the service your folks have recently provided us and as a result, your company has earned a new and loyal customer. And, we will pass the word.
We found out about your company through a neighbor that you employed an "air duct guru" named Jim, who had helped them solve low air flow. Well, for nine years, we've put up with similar problems in an upstairs bedroom in our 70 year old house. Our needs went beyond balancing dampers. Jim suggested an immediate fix of two new sections of duct on both sides of the furnace. Jim's design of the new plenum and return, the balancing of the manual dampers, and the sealing of leaks around the furnace has improved air flow so much, that we are changing filters quite often.
The day of the ductwork change, Jim noticed my A/C was running all the time and showed me all the blockages in the fins of the A/C unit. Alvin, your installer, took the unit apart and cleaned the unit the right way. I enlisted Classic Aire Care to service our equipment via the annual program.

From Kenneth and Kim R-
Classic aire Care came out and gave us a bid on new duct work. Jim was very professional. he explained everything they would be doing. Ours was a little difficult being a cathedral ceiling. Our house is a slab home, so the duct work had to be abandoned and put through the attic and cathedral ceiling. We did not want to enclose the ceiling; Jim came up with duct work to fit above the beams that fit the angles. We were very impressed with his explanation of the ducts, air flow and how he would regulate the system. He did a fantastic job.
Alvin and Brian came out to install the duct work, and invert the furnace to an updraft furnace. They did an excellent job installing all the duct work. Alvin cut the holes in the cathedral ceiling, to the attic to fit the duct work through.
It looks like the duct work has always been there. Alvin and Brian always put down tarps to keep the carpet clean. They cleaned up after themselves everyday. They were very professional and answered any questions we had. Over all, we were very impressed and pleased with the job that they did.
Please call Classic Aire Care today at 314-991-1137 if we can help you with any airflow concerns.
