Cleaned and checked air conditioner. Checked drain. Checked voltage and amperage draw of motors. Tested capacitors. Checked Freon level. Customer complained of small amount of water dripping from air handler at return air grill located in ceiling. I insulated distributor tubes, expansion valve, and flare nut to try to eliminate drips. Also sealed leaks in air handler cabinet. I found expansion valve not regulating Freon flow properly. (Subcooling: 12. Superheat: zero) Customer declined replacing valve. Instead, charged system per fixed orifice charging chart. Removed extra Freon from system per charging chart.
Cleaned and checked air conditioner. Checked drain. Checked voltage and amperage draw of motors. Tested capacitors. Replaced air filter. Checked Freon level. Low on freon. Top off Freon with R-22 to proper superheat level. Cleaned condenser coil. Compressor: 7.7A .Condenser fan:.6A .ambient: 70.liquid line: 83 .suction line: 53.metering device: piston . Suction pressure: 66(38).wet bulb: 59 .

Checked two new air-conditioners on roof. Living area AC: 2832: started up new AC. Topped off to proper subcooling level. Suction pressure: 120. Head pressure: 271. Superheat: 11. Subcooling: 7.0. Bedroom area AC: 2822: found system low on Freon. Pressurized and leak search system. Found leak at suction valve field connection. Repaired leak, evacuated system, recharged system.
FIL013: wash EAC cells with cleaner during clean and check: $50 each unit.
