Air-conditioner would not come on. Blower would not come on. I secured thermostat to sub base and blower was able to come on. Thermostat will not allow air conditioner to run! Needs new thermostat. Work suggested: customer plants to replace thermostat.
Tested thermostat operation. Working OK. I tighten connections. Has five minute time delay when switching from heat to cool. Cleaned and checked air conditioner. Checked drain. Checked voltage and amperage draw of motors. Tested capacitors. Checked Freon level. Cleaned condenser coil. Checked filter.
