It is good to have the same person to come and take care of my furnace and a/c. That person then knows how it is performing from year to year.

I've always been more than satisfied with the care and service Classic provides. Basically the same company my father called when we moved into this house over 50 years ago.
Replaced combustion blower assembly. Tested operation. Combustion blower: 1.55 A. Blower: 5.0 A. Checked filter.
Cleaned & checked gas furnace. Inspected heat exchanger & flue venting. cleaned burners & flame sensor. Customer complaint: customer heard a banging noise for a few minutes. Found no unusual noises at this time. Checked voltage & amp draw of motors. Tested capacitors. Found run capacitor weak: 24%low. Replaced capacitor and tested amp draw. Clean and check humidifier, replace pad, checked water flow and drain. Calibrated h-stat.
Cleaned and checked gas boiler. When I turned up the thermostat boiler control would not bring on burners. When I turned knob for limit control setting burners came on! Water temperature was 45 degrees below limit setting. Boiler control should not have kept burners off. It is working properly now though. Boiler may need new control board. inspected heat exchanger & flue venting. Cleaned condenser coil. Checked voltage & amp draw of pump. I bled air from accessible radiators. tested system expansion rate. System expansion tank is waterlogged. I partially drained system and trained expansion tank. Bled air from radiators. Suggestions: boiler may need new control board if it continues to act up.
