Our service tech Sean was outstanding! Showed up identified the problem and had it fixed in no time at all! If we have any more issues we will requesting him for our service! We also had Jerry come and install our new system and he was great too, our dogs were there the whole time and took extra care to make sure they were comfortable through out the day! Found dual run capacitor bad. Replaced capacitor and tested amp draw. Compressor: 7.7A. Fan: .7A. Also, condenser coil is dirty.

D1BF: Customer stated second floor air conditioner breaker has been tripping. Tested system operation. Check circuit breaker and connections. One pole of breaker is slightly warmer than the other pole. May have bad Internal connection. Compressor:12.5A .Condenser fan: 1.3A .ambient:80 .liquid line: 93.suction line: 40 .metering device: piston . Suction pressure: 67(39) . Return air: 75.supply air: 53.5 .wet bulb: 63 . Condenser fan motor draws slightly more than nameplate, but identical unit for first floor dries the same amount. Fan motor bearings are good. Compressor is starting OK under no load condition. Compressor does not have hard starting components. Compressor could trip breaker if starting under loaded condition.

Sean's Notes: July 22, 2017Emergency no cool, found capacitor, completely rusted...... fan motor, parts used coming on, I tested capacitor and when I put everything back together fan motor fired up, rust was causing issue, replaced capacitor and cycled system...... if customer has issue again within reason, we will need to come back out with condenser fan motor...... Customer signed up for agreement auto pay Need to schedule cleaning on a/c. John's note: July 25, 2017: replaced condenser fan motor. Checked voltage & amp draw of motors. Compressor: 9.9A. Fan: 1.1A. Suction: 80. Suction line: 81.

Cleaned and checked air conditioner. Checked drain. Checked voltage and amperage draw of motors. Tested capacitors. Found run capacitor weak: 15%low, fan side. Replaced capacitor and tested amp draw. Checked Freon level. Cleaned condenser coil. Checked filter. Compressor: 6.6A.Condenser fan: .67A . Blower: mh .ambient: 75.liquid line: 84.suction line: 61 .metering device: piston . Suction pressure: 72(42) . Return air:73 .supply air: 56 .wet bulb: 61. Found basement pressure negative (-.024 inches water column!) due to leaks in return-air ducting. This is causing downdraft of flu and fluegas spillage at water heater.
