FAQ: Why Did My Furnace Stop Working?
There are many reasons why your furnace may be malfunctioning, from a faulty blower motor to a clogged air filter. The best way to find out for sure is to consult an experienced HVAC technician, who will start by asking you what symptoms you’re noticing. Does your furnace:
- Blow cold air?
- Have a pilot light that won’t stay lit?
- Emit a strange odor?
- Make loud, unusual noises upon startup?
- Not turn on at all?
Each of these issues could indicate a different root cause.
If you need furnace repair in the Maryland Heights area, don’t hesitate to call Classic Aire Care today at 314-329-1943. We offer 24-hour furnace repair so you can get help whenever you need it.

FAQ: Why Is My Air Conditioner Not Cooling?
Just like with your furnace, there are many reasons your air conditioner could be on the fritz. First, check your air filter to see if it appears dirty and clogged. If it is, it could block airflow into your unit and cause major problems for system function. If that’s not the issue, you could be dealing with anything from a broken condenser to a refrigerant leak. Luckily, we can help with any AC repair issue you have!
You can also see if your AC unit will start working after being reset. Many modern air conditioners have a red reset button, but if yours does not, simply turn off the unit and unplug the power. If it doesn’t work after waiting a few minutes and turning it back on, you may need to call for home AC repair.
If you’re dealing with a broken air conditioner on a hot day, don’t wait to call us. Classic Air Care offers 24-hour heating and cooling in St. Louis, Maryland Heights, and the surrounding areas.

At Classic Aire Care, we sell and install heat pumps throughout the Maryland Heights area, and we also provide complete heat pump repair, maintenance, and emergency services.

We've been using Classic Aire Care for a couple of years. They are quick to point out potential issues and give an estimate to how much life might be left in a questionalble component. Checked cooling operation and found compressor not pumping to full capacity. Needs new compressor. Also found evaporator coil has slow leak. Needs new evaporator coil. Also, air-conditioner is in need of cleaning. I adjusted speed of blower for temporary cooling/dehumidification. Work suggested: replace compressor and evaporator coil under parts warranty. Clean condenser coil. John O. to check on availability of parts and quote repair costs. Recommend maintenance plan.
