Corey was probably the most outstanding Classic Aire has sent to my home.
I pumped down remaining vapors in system. I replaced evaporator coil. New coil needs R-22 specific expansion valve. I left Small nitrogen charge in low side of system. Need to return to replace expansion valve. I cleaned condenser coil. Need to return tomorrow and replace expansion valve and recharge air conditioner. Steve ordered new valve.
Customer said evaporator coil was found to be leaking (by another company) last year. I found system with vapor pressure only. 75 PSI. Also needs cleaning. Work suggested: need to check on cost and availability of replacing evaporator coil for Trane XL19i system. Needs about 14 to 15 pounds of R22 Freon. Condenser coil cleaning.

Customer said it was 64 in the house and it was blowing cold air this morning. Customer said infinity control had heat source set for heat pump only. Customer switched it to furnace only to warm the house. I tested heat pump operation. OK. I set heat source to ?hybrid heat?. Checked for stored faults and found none. Check temperature rise. HP Stg2. 37. Supply: 108. Return: 71. Complaint: humidifier not working. Humidity: 26%. Water saver humidifier does not produce enough moisture for home. I bypassed water saver future and replaced pad with regular extruded aluminum water panel.
